Holly Abel

Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TOD/HH)

About Me
Holly Abel
Hi! My name is Holly Abel. I am a new teacher at PRC this year and I am thrilled to be working with the students, staff, and families here! I recently relocated to Illinois from Minnesota. I have been privileged to work as a Deafblind intervener and an ASL interpreter in the past, but my absolute passion is teaching. I hold a master’s degree in Special Education: Deaf/Hard of Hearing emphasis from the University of Northern Colorado, a post-baccalaureate certificate in Interpreting from St. Catherine University, and a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College in Theater Arts and Educational Studies. I look forward to continuing to get to know your students over the course of the year!
